GMAT Prep Courses in San Francisco

GMAT Prep Courses in San Francisco

Manhattan Review's innovative test prep courses produce top scores for San Francisco students on the complex Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), which is widely used as a significant admissions criterion by most graduate business programs. Although the GMAT does not assess business skills or knowledge, the general abilities that are evaluated (analytical writing, integrated reasoning, quantitative ability, and verbal ability) are considered good predictors of success in graduate business degree curricula. You'll therefore need the services of a test prep company with extensive knowledge of both the test itself and strategies that have been proven to work. Manhattan Review GMAT prep courses in San Francisco can be delivered via private tutoring or online interactive formats.

Our unique methods have eased entry into the Bay Area's most exclusive institutions! Stanford University's Graduate School of Business and UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business are consistently ranked among the nation's best business schools by U.S. News & World Report. According to Forbes, the median GMAT score for students admitted to the Stanford University Graduate School of Business is 740 out of 800; for UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business, this number is 715. Forbes also ranked UC Davis, 70 miles northeast of San Francisco, as one of the better graduate business programs, with a median GMAT score of 680. Outstanding GMAT scores are clearly an important factor for students seeking to gain admission into selective institutions. GMAT Prep Course San Francisco - Photo of Student Rachel

I needed to improve my quantitative score from 55 to 70% within a month. We met for 10hrs. I just took the test this past Saturday and scored within the 72 percentile, and will be attending Cornell in the fall. I'm psyched! Dan was very professional and prepared for all meetings. He was able to give me a lot of test-taking tips and set up an aggressive study strategy.

Meet a San Francisco GMAT Tutor: Janine B.

Janine B. is a lively and engaging educator who truly enjoys seeing her students succeed. Originally from Rhode Island, she graduated from Harvard with a degree in English, where she delighted in studying the works of her favorite writer, Ernest Hemingway, and other giants of the American literary canon. As an undergraduate, she also acted in school productions and drew cartoons for a school magazine, which allows her to bring the spirit of an artist to her tutoring. Janine realizes that her prior acting experience has helped her become an entertaining and energetic educator, to which her many Manhattan Review students past and present can attest.

After graduation, she sought to become an even more well rounded individual, which inspired her to earn an MBA from the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business. She applied the skills learned in the MBA program by working for a few years as a financial analyst in New York City before moving to the West Coast. Janine currently lives in San Francisco with her husband, 3-year old son, 5-year-old daughter, and 10-year-old German Shepherd. Since joining Manhattan Review in 2007, she has relished the slower pace of life that tutoring allows, giving her time to spend with her family and indulge her love of the arts. She keeps her connection to her native New England alive by rooting for the Boston Red Sox and by listening to her favorite band, the Dropkick Murphys.
