GMAT Prep Course Dayton - Photo of Student Anne

On the verbal sections, I would have struggled to perform this well had I not been coached by Chris on understanding the 'real meaning' or 'purpose' of passages and quotes. During the course I completely turned around my way of reading, from a superficial skim of the general line, to understanding the essential facts leading to the message, a key skill for GMAT.

Meet a Dayton GMAT Tutor: Lacey R.

Lacey R. grew up in Ottawa but moved to Cincinnati in high school following her mother's job transfer. Lacey remained in the United States for college, earning a bachelor's degree in finance from Northwestern University. During her undergrad, she worked part-time as a tutor in her university's learning lab and loved helping other students master academic concepts that came easily to her. She knew she wanted to obtain her MBA, and she prepared for the GMAT by enrolling in a classroom-style prep course. Her hard work and dedication were rewarded when she obtained an impressive score that allowed her to attend the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley. After graduating, Lacey accepted a position with a research and development investment firm and relocated to Dayton. Although Lacey loved the work she did, she soon found herself missing the sense of accomplishment and fulfilment she'd experienced when working directly with students.

When Lacey learned there was a local Manhattan Review office in Dayton, she reached out about helping students prepare for the GMAT. She was quickly welcomed to the team, and her courses fill up almost as soon as they are announced. Her students appreciate her strong mathematical reasoning skills, as well as her business connections within the city, and Lacey loves watching her students succeed. When she isn't guiding future executives to high test scores, Lacey enjoys rock climbing at her local gym and going to the movies with friends.
