According to the available statistics, the mean GMAT total score for all test-takers is 574. Top business programs around the world require very high GMAT scores. I attended the December 2005 weekend GMAT course and would just like to pass my thanks to my instructor. I only had time to do about 5 hours self study so found the Manhattan Review course critical to my success. I took the GMAT for the first time last Friday and scored 690. Many thanks to the team.

Meet a Cambridge GMAT Tutor: Becky T.
Becky grew up in the New York City area and never imagined living anywhere else. She and her parents took frequent trips to Cambridge to visit her aunt and over the years, Becky came to look forward to these excursions, enjoying something different than the familiar hustle and bustle of her hometown. Always someone who enjoyed working with numbers, Becky obtained her bachelor's degree in finance from New York University. When it came time to prepare for the GMAT in order to attend business school and obtain an MBA, Becky began to feel overwhelmed and realized it might be helpful to have professional support to ensure she was focusing on the right test-related topics. After taking group tutoring courses at a New York branch of Manhattan Review, combined with her own study, Becky scored in the top percentile on the GMAT and received acceptance offers to numerous business schools.
Much to the surprise of her family (and somewhat surprising herself), Becky chose to obtain her MBA at Northeastern University. During her time at Northeastern, Becky began to take on occasional side work as a tutor, "because I knew firsthand there was a method to preparing for an exam like the GMAT, and I never would have known that without working with an expert," she recalls. Becky graduated at the top of her class, and while she used her academic knowledge and credentials to obtain an impressive financial consulting position, she continued to take on tutoring clients, helping students identify their own areas of test-related strengths and weaknesses. Eventually Becky found a home at Manhattan Review, where she shares her love of learning and her enthusiasm for the world of business with future company leaders and entrepreneurs.
Becky's students love working with her, and her GMAT group courses fill up almost as quickly as they're announced. Students regularly share how much they appreciate Becky's background, particularly her first-hand knowledge of the GMAT, MBA programs, and working in the business profession. She patiently breaks down even the most complex test questions and has helped countless students in the Cambridge area obtain high total and sectional GMAT scores, allowing them the chance to pursue their own MBA dreams, just as she pursued hers. When she isn't instructing the next generation of leaders, Becky can be found singing in a local women's choir, playing racquetball with her girlfriend, or attending a potluck dinner at her beloved aunt's house.
