GRE Tutoring in Los Angeles (California)

In today's competitive workplace environment, a graduate degree is one of the surest ways to give yourself a competitive advantage over the competition. Another way to increase your chances of success is by getting into one of the top schools for your particular chosen field of study. GRE Prep Course Los Angeles - Photo of Student Tamara

I would like to let you know that I took the GRE on Monday, December 6th and earned a score of 1200 (600 verbal, 600 quantitative). I think that I did very well on the essay portion of the test as well but won't receive those scores in the mail for a couple weeks or so. I would like to thank my instructor (George S.) and Manhattan Review for helping me to increase my score so much (I got a 1050 the first time I took the GRE in 2002) Thank you very much.

Meet a Los Angeles GRE Tutor: David M.

David is a longtime resident of the Los Angeles area and he wouldn't have it any other way. He grew up in nearby Santa Ana before moving to Berkeley, where he attended the University of California at Berkeley for their world-renowned political science program. With an impressive GRE score, David was among the lucky freshman accepted into UC-Berkeley in 1998. David often jokes with his students at Manhattan Review that while he was able to obtain an impressive score on his GRE without any professional test prep help, he only wishes Manhattan Review existed back when he was studying to take the test.

After graduating with his Masters of Public Administration from UC-Berkeley, David then went to work for one of the top employers in Los Angeles: the University of California, Los Angeles campus. There, David has been teaching for over 10 years, helping to mold minds with an aptitude towards political science. He applies a similar attention and attitude to his one-on-one test prep tutoring with students at Manhattan Review.

Since joining the elite team of tutoring professionals at Manhattan Review back in 2009, David has worked with over 75 students, averaging about 12 students each year. That's quite an impressive workload for someone who is a professional instructor by day, but for David, helping students prepare for and successfully attain a desirable score on their GRE and SAT examinations is merely an extension of his day job.

David not only grew up in the Los Angeles area and attended college locally, but he also still lives in the Los Angeles area as well. He and his wife Nichole wouldn't want to raise their three children (Leah, Nyla and Aaron) in any other city and often catch LA Galaxy games, especially since their eldest daughter Leah has taken a liking to the sport.
