I was most impressed with how efficient Vince was with everything, he came prepared and he knew what he was talking about. I liked the efficiency. I already came in with a good idea with what I needed to work on and Vince was great in attacking my weaknesses. I cannot think of anything I disliked or that he could improve about his teaching style.

Meet a Seattle GRE Tutor: Mary D.
Mary, a Mercer Island resident, moved to Seattle at an early age from a small town in Illinois, just outside of Chicago. After studying with a full scholarship at University of South Carolina, she returned to Chicago and entered the International Academy of Merchandising and Design LTD. With this particular field of study, Mary was able to secure a spot at the Nordstrom Product Group in Seattle, a huge triumph in her young career. A successful design professional who takes products from concept to consumer, Mary has been able to bring together her personal passion for fashion with her long-term professional pursuits for the past 17 years.
During her employment, Mary became a mentor for the younger professionals and interns working with the company. Many of these fashion aficionados have shared Mary's drive and enthusiasm for this career path. Mary always advises that these aspiring and ambitious employees return to higher education for an advanced degree. "Make your resume really pop," Mary emphasizes. "The program at the International Academy gave me more hands-on experience than I would have gotten in an entry-level role. The best thing you can do is to prove that you have the skills and qualifications and get the hiring manager to really see you. That's a big challenge when hundreds of people are applying for the same position."
As a staunch supporter of advanced degrees, it's no surprise that Mary crossed paths with Manhattan Review. She works with students in a one-on-one capacity to help them achieve their career goals. Combining her past successes and our unrivaled test prep materials, Mary loves to help tomorrow's leaders begin the journey toward their dream jobs.
