GRE Prep Course Bern - Photo of Student Sophia

I wanted to thank you for helping me with the GRE prep and let you know that your teaching tactics worked! I took the exam yesterday and got an 800 on the math, 570 on the verbal and who knows about the writing but hopefully it's not below a 4! The verbal is tricky with those silly words but I am happy with my score and ready to walk away from this ETS madness. Thanks again and all the best!

Meet a Bern GRE Tutor: Lara R.

Lara R. grew up in Bergen, Norway, where she discovered a passion for math at an early age. She worked very hard in school and her high grades, combined with an impressive SAT score, earned her admittance to Yale University, where she completed an undergraduate degree in mathematics. During her undergrad, she worked part-time as a tutor in the university learning center helping others understand math-based courses and concepts that came easily to her. Determined to obtain a graduate degree, Lara prepared diligently for the GRE, and her hard work was rewarded with a high score that opened important academic doors, giving her the chance to earn a master's degree in mathematical sciences from the University of Oxford.

After graduating, Lara accepted a position with an established cyber security company. She was excited to relocate to Bern and hoped to find ways to continue working with students while establishing her career. When a rare position for an experienced tutor opened up at the local Manhattan Review office, Lara soon joined the team. Her students appreciate her strong quantitative reasoning skills, as well as her strong sense of humor and friendly demeanor. When she isn't helping future graduate students obtain their own impressive GRE scores, Lara can be found knitting and watching travel documentaries.
