LSAT Prep Courses in San Francisco

LSAT Prep Courses in San Francisco

Prospective San Francisco law school applicants interested in receiving high scores on the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) should strongly consider retaining the test prep counsel of Manhattan Review. Students are strictly limited in how often they can attempt the test within a given time period, and the test is only offered four times per year. Furthermore, scores from all test attempts (not just the highest) are reported to law school admissions committees, some of which use the average rather than the best to evaluate applicants. It is therefore crucial that you do well the first time. Poor LSAT scores can delay or even derail law school plans, and you don't want this to happen to you. Manhattan Review's LSAT test prep courses and private tutoring can help you give your law school application zealous representation with top scores. Get your law career started in San Francisco, or wherever you choose to practice.

The LSAT assists law schools by assessing prospective law students' reading comprehension, analytical reasoning, logical reasoning, and writing ability. Lawyers must be able to construct an argument, draw conclusions from various sources of data, and persuade an audience in writing, all of which are evaluated by the LSAT. Correlation has been shown between excellent LSAT scores and success in law school coursework. Manhattan Review's test prep services can hone your skills in all of the above areas, which translates to success not just on the LSAT, but also in law school and in the legal profession.

Manhattan Review clients have graduated from most of the top law schools in the San Francisco area, including Stanford Law School, UC Berkeley School of Law, the University of California's Hastings College of the Law, Santa Clara University School of Law, and the University of San Francisco School of Law. These graduates now work for many of the region's top law firms, such as Morrison & Foerster, Latham & Watkins, and Morgan, Lewis & Bockius. Whichever area of law you choose to practice, from civil litigation and criminal defense to probate or real estate law, Manhattan Review's test prep services can get your legal training off to a promising start.

Meet a San Francisco LSAT Tutor: James M.

James M. hails from the Lone Star State, where he ran track and was a champion skeet shooter at a Dallas-area high school. He studied anthropology at the University of Texas-Austin and soaked up that city's vibrant music scene. After graduation, James taught social studies for three years at a private elementary school before deciding that he wanted to become a labor lawyer. This brought him west to San Francisco, and he is currently a third-year law student at the University of California's Hastings College of the Law. He is quite pleased with the legal training that he is receiving at Hastings, and recommends the school highly.

James's own LSAT scores placed him in the 97th percentile of all test-takers, and he has combined his own successful strategies with Manhattan Review's extraordinary test prep materials to produce outstanding results for hundreds of clients. James aspires to create a law practice that combines concern for social justice with advocacy on behalf of labor. He is also a Certified Personal Trainer, and he brings the discipline necessary for high-level physical fitness to his tutoring. His desire to see his students succeed is as big as his home state of Texas. In his spare time, James can be found training for the Ironman Triathlon that he plans to complete next year. He still enjoys shooting, and spends many of his weekends at Bay Area firing ranges.
