SAT Prep Course Melbourne - Photo of Student Niaema Fox

Funny, made things clear and related things to real life. The SAT / ACT course was very helpful, I don’t think I would’ve improved my reading skills without it. This course also gave me strategies to break down a reading. I got a feel for the SAT and had practice in areas I struggled in.

Meet a Melbourne SAT Tutor: Amelia C.

Amelia studied Accounting and Finance at University of Melbourne, where she graduated at the top of her class. Her academic excellence garnered the attention of several of the area's top businesses, including Ernst and Young. Here she enjoyed a 12-year career, with a number of promotions and a management-level position.

Amelia decided to take some time off from the professional sphere to focus on raising her three children and devoted herself to her family and personal pursuits. During this time, she maintained her fast-paced professional focus by publishing a number of financial articles for leading periodicals both in print and online. Instead of returning to corporate life, Amelia grew to enjoy writing, educating, and participating in more academic discussions.

Her mentoring her own children was a turning point for Amelia. She helped her two sons and daughter get accepted to world-class schools with high SAT scores and impeccable college applications. Attributing her knowledge to her own personal experience, she guided and encouraged each child to achieve academic goals. Today her children are alumni of Yale University in the U.S.; Oxford in the United Kingdom and her daughter is headed toward her doctorate degree at University of Sydney.

Amelia has found herself in a number of classroom situations, including for Manhattan Review. Yet drawing from her own experience, her work as a private tutor in a one-on-one setting is enriching and rewarding. Invest in this personalized attention and support, and Amelia will show you exactly how to approach the SAT with the mindset of a top-percentile performer.

In her personal life, Amelia enjoys swimming, cooking, gardening and photography.
