Funny, made things clear and related things to real life. The SAT / ACT course was very helpful, I don’t think I would’ve improved my reading skills without it. This course also gave me strategies to break down a reading. I got a feel for the SAT and had practice in areas I struggled in.

Meet a Kansas City SAT Tutor: Burton D.
Before becoming a private tutor at Manhattan Review, Burton spent the majority of his career working as an instructor for several of the top universities in Kansas City. After landing his dream job as an academic administrator, Burton quickly began to realize that he had an unfulfilled passion that he no longer had the chance to explore in his new role. Not long after his promotion, Burton was approached by a recruiter from Manhattan Review, which then presented an opportunity for him to again work to develop up and coming talent in his hometown. In addition to getting another opportunity to work with prospective colleges students on a one-on-one basis, Burton also saw an opportunity in his new role to share and impart on his students with the benefits of his experiences, both academic and professional.
As a member of our exceptional team of private tutors at Manhattan Review, Burton plays an integral role in helping us to provide world-class SAT test prep consultant services to prospective college students in Kansas City. Like so many of our instructors, Burton's prior experience overcoming adversity with taking standardized tests as well as his personal achievements as a professional are the foundation upon which his students build their trust in him as an authority figure on test-taking. Burton's SAT test prep students love to work with him as they get the benefit of working with someone who started where they were and persevered, just some of the reasons why we are thrilled to have Burton on our team at Manhattan Review.
