Meet a Salt Lake City SAT Tutor: Erik D.

Long before Erik became a highly sought after graphic designer, he dreamed of one day having a job that would afford him the opportunity to "doodle on a computer for a living." Unfortunately, growing up in rural Nebraska, on his family's farm, meant that if he were to achieve such a goal he would have to work hard and pursue and academic route. That he did, as exemplified by his outstanding academic record in grade school, particularly high school. He also is a self-taught 99th percentile scorer on the SAT, which helped him to attend one of the top universities in the country, the University of Chicago.

After graduating from the University of Chicago, Erik went on to work for a top graphic design firm in Chicago, where he undoubtedly honed his graphic design skills among the best in the country. However, his biggest challenge came as a result of a chance meeting with the person whom later became his business partner for his graphic design firm in Salt Lake City. Once in Salt Lake City, it didn't take long for Erik to discover Manhattan Review and eventually embark on a career as a private tutor. Erik always tells his students that aside from pursuing his passion for graphic design, becoming an SAT private tutor at Manhattan Review has been one of the most rewarding aspects of his career. Helping to develop future professionals, giving them the necessary knowledge and skills is not only a privilege in his eyes, but also a responsibility as a successful professional and business owner in Salt Lake City. And while his day job keeps him pretty busy, Erik is sure to take the necessary time to ensure that his students know that they can contact him whenever they are in need. To him, their success is just as important to his own.
