I like his walkthrough of the problems. Also the strategies he gave. It helped me improve my English and writing. I went up on my SAT scores.

Meet a Calgary SAT Tutor: Cora L.
Cora L. became familiar with things like standardized tests and tutors at a very young age after she was diagnosed with ADHD as a child. "I had a really hard time paying attention in school," explains Cora, "and even though I worked hard, my preparation was never reflected in my performance." Cora describes feeling incredibly frustrated until her doctor diagnosed her with ADHD, which allowed her academic struggles to be understood in a different light. Cora's school team worked closely with her family to find a tutor for her, someone who could teach effective test-taking strategies and guide Cora to learn and study in ways that allowed her to retain information. "Working with a tutor didn't magically make everything about school easy for me," cautions Cora, "but for the first time in my life, I'd seen that I was capable of learning, and that was huge! I realized I could do well on tests and that gave me a massive boost of self-confidence when it came to learning."
A native of Rhode Island, Cora grew up with a dream of attending Brown University but knew there was no way her family could afford such a prestigious school even if she managed to be accepted. "If I truly wanted to go there, I would have to receive financial assistance, and after doing a ton of research, it seemed that a high SAT score was one realistic way of getting scholarships. So, I decided I would work however hard I needed to in order to ace the SAT," Cora says with a laugh. Cora worked with her long-time tutor to prepare for the SAT, in addition to participating in an online prep course that offered her flexibility around her ongoing commitments and extracurricular activities. "By the time the real SAT came around, I'd taken so many practice exams and studied so many questions, nothing was a surprise, and I was able to relax enough to work to my full potential."
Cora's hard work and dedication were rewarded when she not only received her official acceptance letter to Brown University, but also received generous offers of financial aid, ensuring she could afford to attend the school of her dreams due almost entirely to her outstanding SAT score. Cora graduated from Brown with a degree in education before obtaining her master's degree with a specialization in education policy from New York University. Cora ultimately accepted a position with a well-known educational consulting company where she was able to work with schools on identifying better ways to serve the needs of students with learning differences, ensuring other children would receive the support that had been so beneficial to her as a child.
Cora's new position required her to relocate to Calgary, "and the only thing I knew about my new home was that they had a big rodeo every year," she admits with a laugh. "But I was so excited to start a new chapter of my life, and within just a few months, Calgary became home." Passionate about ensuring equal access to education for everyone, Cora began offering weekend seminars for neurodiverse high school students on how to prepare for the SAT, using the skills she'd developed from her own education and tutoring experiences. Her workshops became so popular that waitlists began to develop, and when she was invited to join the team at the Calgary office of Manhattan Review, she couldn't have been happier. "It's a true privilege to support my neurodiverse students," Cora says. "They give me the most hope for the future because they're not afraid of taking risks and doing things differently, and that's the best way to bring about much-needed change." When Cora isn't making the SAT less terrifying to her students, she enjoys creating her own jewelry, attending the annual Calgary Stampede, and kayaking on the Bow River with her boyfriend.
