In addition to raising test scores, our ACT learning plans improve general academic abilities, leading to better performance at the secondary and postsecondary levels. All students have inherent proficiencies and deficiencies in the various ACT skills. One of the keys to improving overall ACT performance is to devote more time to areas of weakness than to areas of strength. This may seem obvious, but many students have a tendency to spend the most time on the ACT section for which they need the least improvement. This is why Manhattan Review's ACT programs feature regular assessments of progress. Periodic evaluation allows our ACT tutors to precisely track student progress and adjust the instruction as necessary. This is one way that we simultaneously enhance ACT scores and support stronger overall academic abilities, the benefits of which will continue to be received long after ACT study has concluded. There is some variation in sectional scores for the total group of test-takers (the mean ACT English score is 20.3, while the average ACT reading score is 21.3). This difference, however, is not enough to suggest that any one section is objectively and substantially more difficult than the others. Each student will have his or her own ACT challenges, which we at Manhattan Review are dedicated to helping overcome.

Completion of Manhattan Review's ACT prep courses or private tutoring programs will almost certainly convey a significant advantage in university admission when compared to a similar applicant who neglects rigorous test prep. This has been proven over and over again by our clients' elite university acceptances, which include world-class institutions such as Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Johns Hopkins, Princeton, the University of Pennsylvania, Carnegie Mellon, the University of California-Berkeley, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the University of Virginia, the College of William & Mary, Vanderbilt, Duke, the University of California-Los Angeles, the University of Chicago, Georgetown, and many other top schools. At Manhattan Review, we have been test prep educators for many years, and thousands of our past students are now accomplished professionals. Some are now employed by Kiev companies such as Naftogaz, Ukraine International Airlines, BG Capital, ASKA Insurance Company, and Aeros. Others have opted for jobs at Fortune 500 companies, including JP Morgan Chase, Prudential Financial, Enterprise Products Partners, United Continental Holdings, Twenty-First Century Fox, and Bank of America.
