Meet a Sydney TOEFL Tutor: Claudine H.

Claudine was always an artist first but found her pragmatism in Psychology and Archeology at University of Tennessee, close to where she grew up in the United States. Later, her art brought her into the rich cityscape of New York City. She soon recognized that she could thrive in a truly urban environment and enrolled in New York University to pursue her passions. While this was a winning plan for the young artist, Claudine soon recognized that her particular talent would be best served at The Julian Ashton Art School, known simply as the Sydney Art School by locals.

Always fascinated by the exotic and incredible sights and stories of New South Whales, this student made a concerted effort to travel abroad. It seems that this plan was meant to be, as things fell into place and she ended up at this prestigious higher learning facility for the arts. Surrounded by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney Opera House, Aquarium, art galleries, and outdoor recreation in the Rocks neighborhood, this locale quickly became her home. Now a decade into her relocation to a brand new continent, this once small-town student has found her place in a larger scheme.

In collaboration with Manhattan Review, Claudine is leveraging her incredible language skills to help us with private TOEFL tutoring services. She has a gift for connecting with her students in the classroom, and she has found an unexpected artistic side in the process of her career pursuits.
