The TOEFL exam contains four separate sections - reading, writing, listening, and speaking. The scale of the results is from 0 to 120 with an average score of 82. Some schools require a specific total score to gain acceptance, while others have a minimum score for particular or all individual sections of the exam. Any score above 82 should be enough to enter many US colleges and universities. However, the highly selective schools will expect a score around or above 100 for acceptance. It happens that some schools like Harvard for instances, have different score requirements to be accepted in their graduate and undergraduate programs. To have a good starting point in making your study plan to reach your target score, Manhattan Review need to know your expectations, so we can guide you properly in your process of preparing for the TOEFL. Our instructor will be also more than happy to assist you, determining your target score and start working on achieving it.
