TOEFL Tutoring in San Jose (California)
The Test of English as a Foreign Language, or TOEFL, is one of the most widely used standardized tests in the world, including in San Jose. Designed to measure English proficiency, the TOEFL is one of the biggest challenges that non native English speakers have to overcome. This is particularly relevant for those individuals who are applying to local colleges and universities, seeking medical licensing or certification, or applying for a residential or work visa. And while some will feel confident in their ability to master the English language on their own, many will find comfort in utilizing professional test prep services such as the industry leading TOEFL test pre services at Manhattan Review, in an effort to achieve their testing goals.
For over 15 years, Manhattan Review has been specializing in helping individuals become proficient in English as well as reach their highest possible score on the TOEFL. We accomplish this by offering or participants the unprecedented opportunity to custom design their own learning program based on their own unique learning style. Their learning programs can then either consist of interactive online courses or one-on-one private tutoring sessions with our elite private tutors, some of the top professionals from across a variety of industries in San Jose, whom we have handpicked to join our team. In addition, our participants have access to a host of other online tools and resources, such as TOEFL practice tests, that are in place and specifically designed to enhance the learning experience.
As a result of our investment in every single participant in our TOEFL test prep program, Manhattan Review has become revered throughout the Greater San Jose Area. Meet a San Jose TOEFL Tutor: Luisa C.
Before coming to Manhattan Review to join our team of elite team of private tutors three years ago, Luisa enjoyed an exciting career as a translator and instructor at one of the top universities in San Jose, National Hispanic University. Being a university dedicated solely to offering associates and bachelor's degrees and technical credentials to Hispanic students, Luisa, a Spanish-speaking non-native English speaker, found a career that would afford her the opportunity to help others like herself achieve their academic and professional goals. She found a similar passion when she became a TOEFL private tutor at Manhattan Review.
As a TOEFL private tutor at Manhattan Review, Luisa brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience of working non-native English speakers. Being a cause that is near and dear to her, Luisa takes great pride in helping others to achieve their goals of becoming English proficient, firstly, but also achieving their highest possible score on the TOEFL as well. Our participants love working with Luisa for numerous reasons including the fact that she is so personable and has the gift of a sense of humor, which helps to lighten the atmosphere when students become overwhelmed or frustrated with the learning process. In her spare time, Luisa can be spotted around San Jose taking in the sites with her husband, Joseph, and their son Xavier as they love to take the opportunity to show their son all the wonderful things about San Jose that she has enjoyed since she was a child.
