Meet a New Brunswick TOEFL Tutor: Hannah L.

Hannah is a warm, engaging, and patient tutor who troubleshoots problem areas and reinforces strengths for the most success on the TOEFL. Hannah graduated from Harvard University with a BA in English and an MA in English. Unsure whether or not to take her degree to the doctorate level, Hannah decided to change the scenery for a while. She accepted a position teaching English as a Foreign Language in Brazil, where she fell in love with the enchanting country. Hannah has worked in private language schools for several years, helping students prepare for a variety of English language-related exams. She has also spent time in London where she has attended lectures and seminars at Oxford about the opportunities and teaching methods available to English-educated experts.

Hannah has volunteered at cultural exchange programs and has taught students from Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Japan, and Hong Kong. Even though she loves travelling, Hannah decided a few years ago that she wanted to be closer to family, so she set up shop in New Jersey and has been working as a TOEFL tutor in New Brunswick ever since. This much-raved-about tutor is always willing to accommodate her TOEFL students, catching up at libraries or cafes to find the learning environment most conducive and custom-fit for her students' needs.
