Founded in 1999, our company has helped tens of thousands of students reach their test score and university admission goals. From our inception, we have worked with international students are well aware of the special needs associated with language acquisition and how cultural differences can affect test-takers in preparation and learning methods. Manhattan Review has assembled a team of Knoxville's most qualified TOEFL educators, all of whom are highly experienced teachers whose passion is working with students. Our tutors implement TOEFL learning plans that utilize the industry's most comprehensive course materials and up-to-date methodologies. For more information on course options, course scheduling, and ancillary services, contact Manhattan Review in Knoxville today.

We suggest that our students first look closely into the English language competency requirements in the school or program of your choice. For example, many universities in the UK prefer the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) assessments while many in the US prefer the TOEFL. More and more universities are accepting either one, but nothing is universal, so it is important to check. If your top choices accept both the TOEFL and the IELTS, we suggest you take a practice test of each of them so that you can see which one highlights your language strengths better. Whichever test you choose, Manhattan Review tutors are ready to help you improve your performance. Once you have chosen the test that works best for you, we suggest finding the minimum requirements, and, if possible, average incoming scores on the test so that you can have a realistic idea of the score you should achieve to be considered as a serious applicant to the program.

I highly recommend Manhattan Review's TOEFL preparation course for anybody interested in taking the exam. I took an intensive course and took the exam only after 4 weeks of classes, and got a 116 score. The teaching method is excellent. It focuses on techniques and strategies that allow students to understand exactly what is required to succeed on examination day. Tutors are very flexible and willing to adapt to the student's schedule, as well as reachable and always ready to help and follow up on whatever the student might need.

Jasmine G was born and raised in Boca Raton, Florida. She studied communications at the University of Florida before getting her Master of Digital Marketing at Vanderbilt. Jasmine's students appreciate her clear communication style and her ability to make them feel at ease while they practice their English.
