Meet a Santiago IELTS Tutor: Georgina P.

Georgina P. was born in Liverpool, England, and she has always enjoyed sharing information with people. From an early age, she developed an interest in advertising and marketing, as well as an interest in the psychology of consumer behavior patterns. Georgina worked very hard in high school, and she prepared for the SAT with a private tutor. After receiving a very high SAT score, Georgina was accepted to the University of Pennsylvania, where she majored in marketing. She spent five semesters working in the university's learning center, helping others master information that came easily to her. She then attended the University of California at San Diego, where she obtained a master's degree in teaching, as well as a TESOL certificate, and after graduating, she accepted a position as an English teacher in a private school in Southern California.

Georgina enjoyed teaching others, and when she was offered an exciting social media marketing position in Santiago, she was happy to relocate to such a dynamic city. While she enjoyed the creative demands of her new job, Georgina soon found that she missed working with students and making a positive difference in their lives. When she learned about the local office of Manhattan Review, she applied and was soon hired as a TOEFL and IELTS tutor. When she isn't helping the next generation of English-speakers prepare for IELTS success, Georgina can be found designing eye-catching online campaigns and going dancing with friends.
