Meet a Knoxville IELTS Tutor: Jorge R.

Jorge R. is an IELTS tutor for Manhattan Review who grew up in Austria before his family moved to Knoxville when he was a teenager. He speaks English and German and is currently learning to speak Spanish, and he has been assisting people with learning English or German as a second language since his time in college at Vanderbilt.

Jorge has a Master’s in Education from Penn State University, and is currently working as a teacher of English for speakers of other languages. His more than 10 years of experience in teaching the language have given Jorge insights into common mistakes and areas of confusion, which make him more capable of explaining the rules to his students. When he is not helping others learn other languages, Jorge likes to spend his time reading.
