Meet a Houston TOEFL Tutor: Martin C.
Martin graduated from Brown University where he studied Mass Communications and Media. After college, he was eagerly recruited for hire by AT&T, which brought him to their Texas location. As a part-time gig studying in Providence, Martin got involved with an SAT prep group that offered free SAT tutoring to area students. He specialized in SAT Reading and Writing but personally scored prominently on every test section. With Manhattan Review, Martin has leaned more toward the TOEFL for a very specific reason. He was probably most impacted working with a Lithuanian refugee family, mentoring and guiding several family members through many study sessions to learn and master the English language.
Martin understands that struggling with language is frustrating, and most of his career goals are aligned with bringing people together through communication. Martin can bridge any gap between you and your stellar TOEFL score with his highly experienced methods and commitment to high quality, big picture language learning. Martin loves salsa dancing, movie marathons, and reading crime-thrillers in his spare time from the office and the classroom.
