IELTS Prep Courses in Brooklyn (New York)
Students looking for help with the English language for the process of taking the International English Language Testing System, or IELTS exam, may feel that they need assistance with the study process. Manhattan Review has been helping ESL students with the potentially difficult process of learning the English language since 1999, and is the best resource for ESL students in the Brooklyn area preparing for the IELTS. Students who work with Manhattan Review to learn the material on the IELTS exam can choose to take group courses, private tutoring, and practice exams either individually or in combination with one another as they see fit to ensure that they are able to get the most out of their time studying for the IELTS exam. Students who work with Manhattan Review also have access to a wide variety of benefits that allow them to get the most out of the study process and ensure a stronger performance on the day of the exam.
Manhattan Review students can work with their group course instructor or private tutor either in-person or online depending on what they feel would be best for their course of study. Regardless of which option they choose, Manhattan Review's instructors have many years of experience with helping Brooklyn's ESL students learn the English language, and students who work with a Manhattan Review private tutor have the ability to customize their lesson plan as they see fit to ensure that their strengths and weaknesses in the material are covered appropriately. Students who work with Manhattan Review also have access to practice tests and curriculums that are updated annually to accurately reflect the exam's current formatting and content, and students who work with a private tutor in-person have the ability to work at any mutually convenient location in the New York City area to allow for the most efficient commute for both parties.
Students who have worked with Manhattan Review for their process of preparing for the IELTS exam have managed to gain both a greater grasp of the material that is covered on the exam, and a stronger understanding of the English language that has served them well in capacities outside of the IELTS exam. Students who have worked with Manhattan Review to prepare for the IELTS have managed to use their improved scores on the exam to gain acceptance to universities such as Harvard, Yale, Oxford, Cambridge, Columbia, Barnard, New York University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, University of Chicago, William and Mary, Princeton, Brown, Emory, and many others. Students have also managed to translate their academic backgrounds at these schools into a wide variety of careers, including at companies that require the ability to speak in both English and other languages. Meet a Brooklyn IELTS Tutor: Luke M.
Luke M. grew up in the Los Angeles area and attended UCLA to earn his Master's degree in education, but he moved to the New York City area because he had family and friends on the East Coast. He now works as a teacher and tutor for Manhattan Review, including helping ESL students with the process of learning the English language for the TOEFL and IELTS exams.
Luke's study methods have helped a wide variety of ESL students who speak various languages to develop a stronger grasp of the English language that they have subsequently used in a variety of different academic and career-related capacities. When he is not helping students to learn the English language and standardized test material, Luke likes to visit museums in and out of New York City.
