Meet a Bern IELTS Tutor: Johanna F.

Johanna F. grew up in Cologne, then moved to the United States with her family when she was fourteen. From a very young age, Johanna dreamed of performing on stage in the theater. She was an active participant in her high school drama club and won starring roles in numerous plays and musicals. Johanna obtained a very high SAT score, and combined with her extracurricular activities and impressive grades, she was able to attend the New York University. After graduating, Johanna accepted a job teaching drama at a private high school in Southern California. She attended the University of Southern California, where she obtained a master's degree in education, as well as a TESOL certificate. Johanna hoped to one day combine her passion for acting with her desire to help others achieve their own inspiring successes.

After a few years in Southern California, Mai received a job offer to teach drama and English in Bern. She was thrilled to return closer to home, and it wasn't long before she joined the team at Manhattan Review. Johanna is passionate about helping students master the English they need to excel on tests such as the TOEFL and IELTS. Her classes always fill up very fast, and students rave about her extensive knowledge and supportive personality.
