Denver, Colorado, is the perfect marriage between the Old West Days and the 21st Century. Peaking at exactly one mile above sea level, which is where the nickname Mile-High City comes from, Denver is more than just a modern day bridge between the past and future of business in the U.S., but also around the world. No other major city can lay claim to possessing the unique combination of 19th century buildings that still remain, picturesque landscaping and bustling big business in all in one place.

Denver is more than just the capital city of Colorado, it's truly a global city. As such, this global city offers a myriad of opportunities for both individuals and businesses alike, which is perfect for up and coming professionals across a wide variety of fields. Meet a Denver Tutor: Simon S.

Since joining Manhattan Review in 2003, Simon has played in integral role in the development and implementation of our exclusive test prep tools and resources. He's not the average tutor, which goes a long way towards helping students feel more comfortable within the traditional learning environment. Simon attributes his teaching style and enthusiasm for tutoring to his parents, who are both professors at the prestigious University of Denver, which is also Simon's alma mater.

After scoring nearly a perfect score on the SATs, Simon was accepted into the Daniel Felix Ritchie School of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Denver, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. During his senior year, Simon began a work-study program in which he tutored underclassmen. There he realized that he had an aptitude and desire to educate, which has translated to both successes on the job and in the classroom. Students at Manhattan Review in Denver are placed in excellent hands for GMAT, GRE and SAT test prep with an influential tutor like Simon, which is why many students come back to enroll in additional test prep services with him.

Simon says, "all work and no play make for a dull boy," which is exactly why he hasn't abandoned his lacrosse roots from his days at the University of Denver. In his downtime, you can find Simon and his wife, Stacy, at the University of Denver playing a friendly, yet competitive, game of lacrosse with the team he co-founded with friends. He also enjoys cheering on the Colorado Mammoth at the Pepsi Center when he can get the opportunity.
