Meet a Chicago Tutor: Josh W.

Josh began tutoring in high school as a favor to a family friend struggling in Algebra class. Josh helped bring this failing grade up to an A- by the end of the semester, and he became hooked on helping his peers. His passion for teaching grew as his own education advanced. Josh holds undergraduate degrees in both English and Economics, an ecletic mix that's given him exposure to wide-ranging subjects and applications. In college, Josh was a teaching assistant for pre-calculus and differential equations while tutoring friends on the side. Josh graduated from the University of Chicago and pursued his Master's degree in Teaching at the University of Michigan.
