Meet a Boston Tutor: John B.
John graduated from MIT with a degree in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. With two Bachelor of Science degrees under his belt, John chose to minor in Italian to widen his math-minded focus and appeal more to his more romantic side. John has tutored students from the ages of 9 to 55, in versatile subject areas. He leverages his own successful experiences on the ACT, SAT, and GRE to teach strategic test-taking skills as well as reinforcing the study syllabus.
John was the high school valedictorian with perfect scores in mathematics and science (800 SAT and 36 ACT). His success on the GRE enabled him to pursue his professional goals at MIT, where he networked his way into more than 1,000 hours of tutoring high school students for standardized test prep. When John isn't hitting the books, he's also an avid landscape photographer and a volunteer at the Boston Adoption Center of the MSPCA.
