TOEFL Tutoring in Irvine

The Test of English as a Foreign Language, or TOEFL, is one of the biggest challenges that non native English speakers must face as they apply for colleges and universities, medical licensing and certification as well as residential and work visas. Administered by the Educational Testing Service, or ETS, to more than 27 million individuals since its initial inception, the TOEFL is more than just a part of an application process, it is used to determine English proficiency for more than 8,500 institutions of higher learning and agencies all around the world, including right here in Irvine. As a result of the significant weight that is placed on the TOEFL, it is imperative that potential test-takers indeed adequately prepare for the TOEFL. That's where Manhattan Review can help.

For over 15 years, Manhattan Review has been the industry leader in test prep services, providing individuals with the requisite tools and resources they need to master the English language. Specifically, and unlike any other TOEFL test prep provider, our unprecedented program affords our participants the opportunity to create their own learning plan. Although learning plans can either consist of a unique mix of interactive online courses or one-on-one private tutoring sessions with one of our elite instructors, they are all custom designed or tailored to each individual's needs, which can include learning style and availability constraints. In addition, each participant is given access to our host of online tools and resources such as our TOEFL practice tests. At Manhattan Review we invest in each person that comes to our test prep program and, especially in Irvine, it shows.

All of the top colleges and universities in Irvine and the surrounding communities continue to support our past participants year after year. As a result, it is not uncommon for past Manhattan Review TOEFL test prep participants to go on to be accepted into the University of California at Irvine, California Southern University, Concordia University, Paramount California University, Irvine Valley College, Fuller Theological Seminary, The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, California State University, Fullerton, and Champion University. Similarly, the top employers have endorsed our work by hiring our students, including Irvine Unified School District, Blizzard Entertainment, Broadcom Corporation, Edwards Lifesciences, Parker Hannifin, Allergan, Verizon Wireless, Atlus, BenQ Corporation, Mazda Motor Corporation, Nikken, Samsung Electronics, and Toshiba Corporation. Both the local colleges and universities and major employers have done so not only because they are confident that our past participants are indeed proficient in English, but that they also possess the necessary knowledge and skills to be productive on the job. Meet an Irvine TOEFL Tutor: Sebastian

Growing up in Los Angeles, Sebastian didn't realize that his English needed improvement until he took the TOEFL for the first time and didn't reach his testing goal. After re-evaluating his test preparation strategy and seeking help, Sebastian was able to not only achieve a higher score on the TOEFL, but also impress one of the best design schools in the country, The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. With the knowledge and skills to concur the design world, starting in Irvine, Sebastian vowed to help others to achieve their goals, both personal and professional, as he knew all too well that without English proficiency achieving one's goals is much more difficult to accomplish. Not long after opening his own design school, after a successful ten-year long run travelling the world with his designs, Sebastian came to Manhattan Review in Irvine.

Since becoming a member of our elite team of private tutors, Sebastian has played a pivotal role in helping us to deliver the world-class TOEFL test prep services that we are known for all around the world, including right here in Irvine. Among the many admirable traits that make Sebastian such a great instructor, our students love to work with him because he is so down-to-earth and he is dedicated to helping them to first and foremost achieve English proficiency, but also their personal and professional goals, just as he had always hoped to do. For that reason and so many more, we are thrilled to have him as part of our team of TOEFL tutors at Manhattan Review.
