SAT Prep Course Washington DC - Photo of Student Niaema Fox

Funny, made things clear and related things to real life. The SAT / ACT course was very helpful, I don’t think I would’ve improved my reading skills without it. This course also gave me strategies to break down a reading. I got a feel for the SAT and had practice in areas I struggled in.

Meet a Washington DC SAT Tutor: Jeff P.

Jeff studied Computer Science at University of Virginia and graduated with a 3.9 GPA in 2004. He went on to study Computer Science, gaining his Master's degree at Johns Hopkins University in 2009. He became a software engineer at a local company and was then recruited to bring his advanced skill set to Capital One. He relocated to commute conveniently to the major bank's McLean, Virginia office. During this time, he was still doing some freelance work in engineering for web and application developers. Jeff met and later married an aspiring newscaster in Washington, DC, which clinched his purchase of the frequent Metro pass into the city. He is still part of his company's corporate culture, but he's also working toward extra income to support his new (and growing!) family.

Jeff is a stellar SAT tutor with a gift for explaining concepts and a brain for both vocabulary- and math-minded principles. His wife has made her way to the airwaves in Washington DC so the power couple enjoys their time as young professionals in the booming metropolis of Washington DC. In his spare time, Jeff loves playing video games with his friends or taking his wife out for a night in the city. Jeff scored in the 99th percentile on his SAT and can show you exactly how to do the same.
