Meet an Ann Arbor GMAT Tutor: Johnny W.

Johnny was born and raised in the South. He graduated from Emory University with a Business Administration and Management degree and then went north for graduate school. Although the climate change was difficult to acclimate to, he ended up receiving his world-class MBA at Columbia University. Following graduation, he decided to head for the trendy Tree Town and has never left.

Johnny is an avid football fan. In the classroom, Johnny is known for two things: One, he always carries a football. He uses it to keep his students attention and tosses it back and forth while asking questions. The only rule is you can't throw it back until you've formulated a question for him. The game doesn't end until each student has answered and asked a question.

Another note about Johnny that he is known for is: Tae Bo. He follows their mantra of 'Total Commitment' to whatever you do. He encourages his students to do the same for their GMAT test prep. Therefore, it is no surprise that during Johnny's one-on-one private tutoring sessions, one can expect a rigorous learning process, which reflects Manhattan Review's techniques and course syllabus. Over the years, Johnny has continually coverted average test takes to high GMAT scoring champions.

If Johnny isn't at a football game or the classroom, he can be found on a bus back down to Georgia. He isn't a fan of flying and prefers the time to see the country, take in the sights and refresh his mind, which he knows is crucial to teaching and test taking.
