TOEFL Prep Course Ghent - Photo of Student Virginia

I highly recommend Manhattan Review's TOEFL preparation course for anybody interested in taking the exam. I took an intensive course and took the exam only after 4 weeks of classes, and got a 116 score. The teaching method is excellent. It focuses on techniques and strategies that allow students to understand exactly what is required to succeed on examination day. Tutors are very flexible and willing to adapt to the student's schedule, as well as reachable and always ready to help and follow up on whatever the student might need.

Meet a Ghent TOEFL Tutor: Glen L.

Glen L. was born into a military family and grew up living all around the world, which he believes helped him develop an ear for languages at a young age. Glen obtained an undergraduate degree from Stanford University in linguistics, and during his undergrad program, he worked as a tutor in his university's learning center, helping others comprehend information that came easily to him. He then obtained a master's degree in education from Johns Hopkins University, as well as a TESOL certificate. After graduating, he accepted a job as a translator at an international research organization with an office in Ghent. Fluent in four languages, Glen looked forward to helping people communicate better.

While Glen enjoyed his work, he also wanted to support others seeking to obtain their own personal and professional successes by attending a leading college or university. When he learned Manhattan Review had an office in Ghent, he contacted us about helping students prepare for the TOEFL and other standardized tests assessing one's knowledge of English. We were thrilled to welcome Glen to the team, and his classroom-style prep courses consistently fill up as soon as they are announced. His students appreciate his strong academic knowledge and helpful time-management techniques, as well as his generous sense of humor. When he isn't guiding future college students to their own TOEFL success, Glen enjoys coaching a youth basketball team and playing the guitar in a local band.
