Manhattan Review, an international educational services company founded in 1999, is known around the world for helping international students secure acceptance to universities in English-speaking countries. Thousands of students have reached their academic goals through our test prep services, and we look forward to teaching the next generation of university applicants.

The applicant pool for prestigious universities has grown significantly in recent years, which creates much more intense competition for available seats. Approximately 55,000 students applied for Fall 2009 admission to the University of California-Los Angeles. UCLA's entering class for the Fall of 2016, by contrast, had more than 97,000 applicants. The number of UCLA applicants increased over 74% between 2009 and 2016, while the size of the first-year class grew by only 43% during the same period. Not surprisingly, the average ACT scores of first-year UCLA students have gone up as well. In 2009, the middle-50% ACT total score range was 24-31, which increased to 25-33 in 2016. The median ACT score at UCLA was about 27.5 in 2009 and 29 in 2016, which represents the respective 88th and 92nd percentiles of all test-takers. Slightly more than 43% of 2009 UCLA matriculants who chose the ACT scored 30 or higher, while approximately 57% of their 2016 peers could say the same. ACT prep of the highest quality gives all university applicants a significant advantage over students who do not devote enough effort to their test performance.
