For each of five processing centres, the chart summarises the number of orders the centre processed per day over one quarter. For a given centre, the box runs from the first quartile to the third quartile, the line inside the box marks the median, and the ends of the two whiskers mark the lowest and the highest daily figure recorded. Call the third quartile minus the first quartile that centre's interquartile range, and the highest daily figure minus the lowest its full span.
