Meet a Raleigh-Durham LSAT Tutor: Luke S. Kevin D.

After receiving his B.A. in Political Theory from New York University, Luke pressed forward, looking to enter one of the top law schools in the country. His LSAT score of 168, which placed him in 96th percentile, allowed Luke to enter the school of his choosing. After careful consideration, he enrolled at Georgetown University, where he went on to receive his J.D. His high LSAT score was due in part to his extensive preparation. Luke had enrolled in private tutoring with an experienced and enthusiastic teacher, which boosted his score by more than 20 points.

Having experienced the positive results of tutoring firsthand, Luke is paying it forward by providing students some of the very same techniques that worked for him. His study strategies range from formal drills to more casual exercises aimed at channeling common sense. Bringing his keen insights into how the LSAT works, Luke is a private tutor who helps his students gain invaluable confidence for test day.

His former students have been quick to state how helpful Luke's teaching strategies have been. One such pupil, a Manhattan Review student who received her J.D. from the University of Michigan, said, "Luke helped me realize that my biggest weakness was my own anxiety about not scoring high enough. I understood the concepts, but when I sat down to take the practice LSAT test, I was suddenly panic-stricken. Luke helped me score higher on the exam, largely in part because he showed me how the pros approach the test."
