Relatively small improvements in LSAT performance can often have a very significant effect on the odds of law school admission. The Law School Admission Council (LSAC) has compiled extensive statistics on the LSAT and law school admissions for many of its accredited institutions. According to LSAC, applicants to Penn State Law with LSAT scores between 150 and 154 were admitted at a rate of about 17%. If a hypothetical applicant were able to boost his or her LSAT score by just a few points (to the 155-159 range), the odds of admission would increase to nearly 57%. If this same Penn State applicant were to receive a 160 or higher, his or her odds of acceptance would become 83% or better. Penn State applicants at all GPA levels benefit from higher LSAT scores. The acceptance rate for students with 160+ LSAT scores and GPAs between 2.75 and 2.99 (63%) is actually higher than the rate for students with LSAT scores in the 150-154 range and GPAs at or above 3.75 (47%).

Selective law school acceptances regularly result from Manhattan Review's LSAT prep courses and LSAT private tutoring in Pretoria and other world cities. Our LSAT clients have pursued and completed JDs at Harvard, Yale, Stanford, UC Berkeley, Cornell, the University of Chicago, the University of Pennsylvania, Duke, Northwestern, the University of Virginia, Columbia, the University of Texas, UCLA, Notre Dame, Georgetown, and the University of California. Graduates of top programs are highly competitive in the job market, while alumni of the lesser schools frequently have trouble finding jobs that require a JD. Manhattan Review's past LSAT clients have been hired by Fortune 500 companies, including JP Morgan Chase, Wells Fargo, Prudential Financial, Lockheed Martin, and Proctor & Gamble. We've also seen our former LSAT students go into the public sector, at government agencies and charitable organizations worldwide. The cost of rigorous LSAT preparation is a very small price to pay for the lifelong benefits of a law degree from a top program. Meet a Pretoria LSAT Tutor: Seena C.

Seena C. graduated magna cum laude from Boston College with a bachelor of arts in sociology. She then completed her law degree at Arizona State University's Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law. She has been teaching LSAT prep since her second year of law school in 2006, and she has been teaching out of Manhattan Review's Pretoria office for the past two years.

Seena's students rave about their LSAT score improvements. "The first time I took the LSAT, my score was barely above average," wrote one recent private tutoring client. "Seena's LSAT teaching helped me figure out where I was consistently making mistakes, and on my second LSAT attempt, my scores were in the 90th percentile." In her spare time, Seena enjoys outdoor activities, especially rock climbing.
