I would like to let you know that I took the GRE on Monday, December 6th and earned a score of 1200 (600 verbal, 600 quantitative). I think that I did very well on the essay portion of the test as well but won't receive those scores in the mail for a couple weeks or so. I would like to thank my instructor (George S.) and Manhattan Review for helping me to increase my score so much (I got a 1050 the first time I took the GRE in 2002) Thank you very much.

Meet a Tokyo GRE Tutor: Asa L.

Asa loved dogs her whole life. She always grew up surrounded by rescue pets and devoted a great deal of time to their rehabilitation and care. Throughout high school she volunteered and, in college, she began to study as a Veterinarian. Despite this initial interest, her passions shifted as she saw a new opportunity that harnessed her unique skills.

She started studying business to learn more about how nonprofit organizations operated in the communities they serve. Asa graduated from Waseda University, and then she acquired her Master's degree at Keio University. The animal lover and activist became involved in a major nonprofit in the Tokyo area, helping hundreds of four-legged friends find their forever homes.

Since Asa has achieved high SAT and GRE scores, along with degrees from two distinguished universities, she was a welcome addition to Manhattan Review. As a private tutor in Tokyo, Asa extends her spirit of generosity and kindness to make an impact and connect with students. Asa had tutored her peers during her undergraduate years, so she's a natural when it comes to working in a one-on-one private tutoring setting. For many students, Asa has been the driving force leading toward a 99th percentile test score.

In her spare time, Asa and her partner run a modest-size kennel, a motley crew of mixed-breed dogs.
