Meet a Chicago GRE Tutor: Eli B.

Eli took home his diploma from Indiana University with a degree in Mathematics. He then pursued his PhD in Pure Mathematics at University of Illinois. Eli is a mathematical wiz who can think clearly in numbers and spell out these concepts to others. That's probably why Eli has been teaching math in some form or another for the past 15 years. Eli has classroom experience at the high school level, gaining a keen perspective on how to relate Algebra 1 and 2 to students. As a teaching assistant, Eli has also tutored in Pre Calculus, Calculus, Abstract Algebra, and Higher Mathematics.

Because standardized tests are steeped in logic instead of memorization, Eli teaches the flexibility to solve problems and find solutions. Eli will teach you the fundamentals and help you increase your score on the GRE. That being said, Eli is also an excellent resource for Verbal as well. While he has excelled in Mathematics and pursued the subject professionally, Eli himself scored at the top of the charts on the SAT, GRE, and LSAT. Let Eli help you with his strategies to overcome academic weaknesses. As an inherent math geek, Eli will also share his timing tips to take the GRE like a true pro. Eli is in the process of getting his high-level mathematics textbook published.
