I'm thinking of looking into becoming an account. I was just wondering if you could say the pros and cons of pursuing a career like this. Is it a good option?

There are a few great reasons to get into accounting nowadays.
1) There is a high demand in many top tier companies for recently college grads interested in accounting.
2) The field is also very diverse, and you could move into areas of management, like retail, wholesale, marketing and finance.
3) Very stable, and less stress inducing than, say, I-banking.

It does have some downers however.
1) Though it may be less stressful than I-banking, it also earns less. That is not to say that it does not give a comfortable lifestyle.
2) Some do describe it as a tedious, conservative pursuit as a career.

These are just a few pointers to consider in regards to accounting.

Accounting is a good option for you.It is beneficial for b.com students.Very useful......It is a good for you.In this field,you can get success in future.Best of luck.............
