300 words worth

On the TOEFL Writing Section, I struggle to write the full 300 words required, especially on essay 2. Any suggestions?

A few things often slow people down.

· Not knowing the English keyboard. This has to be learned beforehand.
· Getting too bogged down with grammar details as they write each sentence. The TOEFL is scored more on the basis of structure and clarity than on your English grammar. Too much concern with grammar is therefore an ineffective use of time. Indeed, some TOEFL test takers find themselves so concerned with meeting the word requirement that they sacrifice clarity and structure. They jump from listening to the task to writing and fail to structure their response. This is not the idea.
· Also losing track of time. Be aware of how much time you have to write and efficiently structure a complete essay you are capable of completing in the allotted time.
