Difference between Computer and Internet Test Scores

Quick question. My friend took a Computer TOEFL test and got a 230. The school he is applying to wants an 80, but on an internet TOEFL test. I'm not sure what the difference is. Thoughts?

230 on the CBT (computer -based test) is roughly 88-89 on the iBT
(internet-based test), so the student should be fine. He/she just needs to
find out if they will accept the CBT score. Usually it's fine as it's
pretty much the equivalent.
