Q.
If the speed of x meters per second is equivalent to the speed of y kilometers per hour, what is y in terms of x? (ratios)
5x/18 6x/5 18x/5 60x 3,600,000x

My A:
x meters/1 second = 60 seconds/1 minute = 60 minutes/1 hour = 1 meters/1,000 kilometers = y kilometers/ 1 hour => 3,600 1,000

I know this is not set up correctly, I didn’t get the correct answer. What did I do improperly? I tried to set this up like I did on my scratch paper, but I don't remember how to set up the spacing in code...

x m/s = 3.6x km/hr

y= 3.6x

After rechecking... I did have the y = 3.6x, I just forgot the x.

How did GMAT Prep get 18x/5 ? The only difference is 3.6x*5. Can it be the correct answer just because it is multiplied by 5?

Note that 3.6x =36x/10=18x/5
