The US has a few instructors, like John Beer, Henry Waller, and Morten Hagen. All three of these teachers are written to by previous students about the results of their exams.

"This is Cheryl from NYC crash course weekend.
I took the GMAT this morning.
I got:
36 Verbal, 80% (up from 32 on my previous test)
46 Quantitative, 79% (up from 36)
Overall Score 670
I was very happy with my score. Thanks for a great review -- you gave me
some helpful pointers - especially on the critical reasoning. "

Just to let you know, my overall score jumped 100 points from 640 on my
first attempt to 740 after completing the course. My quant score stayed the
same at 47, but my verbal score went from a 31 to a 44.

Overall, I am very happy with the results I was able to achieve by taking
the Manhattan Review course.

I was in the Manhattan Review "crash weekend" course back in October... anyway I just wanted to write to let you know that I took the GMAT yesterday and got a 710. I'm very happy with my score - I even beat my personal goal of 700!

Your weekend crash course really set me on my way to get a great score.
This was my third try, the first two were 660 and 680 with very weak math scores.
Today I got 740 97% with Q 48 85% and V 44 97%"
