Test Prep Services in Dublin (Irland)

It is a little known fact that Dublin, Ireland is quite a force as cities around the world are concerned. More than just an elaborate collection of fantastic landmarks and monuments paying tribute to its long history, as the capital and largest city of Ireland, Dublin has much to offer native Irish residents, as well as the world all over.

Originally founded as a Viking settlement in the then named Irish Free State (now Ireland), Dublin has a rich history of both culture and intertwined industry dating back hundreds of years. Today, Dublin is known for its education, arts, economy and industry, which are the result of the city's ability to find a way to flourish over time, which included capitalizing on strengths and trends and industry that have ultimately helped to maintain and grow the economy. And the world has taken notice.

Globalization and World Cities Research Network (GaWC) ranked Dublin as a global city, specifically with an "Alpha" status designation. As a result, the Irish capital has acquired the status of one of the top thirty cities in the world, making it a highly desirable place for both prospective professionals and businesses, in particular, alike. As the economic center of Ireland, Dublin is often at the forefront of all economic activity and, of course, expansion. With a previous record of ranking as the fourth richest city in the world based on purchasing power and the tenth richest city by personal income, it is safe to say that Dublin is the place to be for any up and coming or established professional, and that applies to a variety of industries.

Although over the years Dublin's economy has seen a shift in focus from traditional industries, such as food processing, textile manufacturing, brewing and distilling—with the exception of Guinness, who still continues to brew at the St. James Gate Brewery, the 1990s ushered in a new wave of industries, including global pharmaceuticals as well as information and communications technology, both into the city proper and the surrounding Greater Dublin Area. Some of the top employers in Dublin include Microsoft, Google, Amazon, eBay, PayPal, Yahoo!, Facebook, Twitter and Pfizer, whom all have their European headquarters and/or operational bases located in the Irish capital.

In order to thrive in a bustling city like Dublin, current and future professionals need to be able to set themselves apart from everyone else. And while an impressive resume, by way of work experience is certainly one way to accomplish that goal, many of the top employers are also looking for individuals who have the aptitude by way of education. Manhattan Review can help. Since 1999, Manhattan Review has worked to become the industry leader in GMAT, GRE, LSAT, SAT, and TOEFL test prep services, top rated services that are guaranteed to not only help you succeed on test day, but will also give you an advantage in the job market as well, due large in part to our stellar reputation for cultivating premiere talent in Dublin.

GMAT Prep Course Dublin - Photo of Student Nitin

I took the GMAT and scored 750 (Q50 V41). I found the Manhattan Review Crash course extremely useful in brushing up concepts and common mistakes, the small class size ensured private attention and the timing suited my hectic schedule. It's a quick fix to cracking the GMAT. Thanks Manhattan Review!

Meet a Dublin Tutor: Blake L.

Growing up in the Washington, DC area, Blake always had big dreams of securing a job in the financial services industry; particularly one that would afford him the opportunity to travel around the world. With lots of hard work, academically speaking, Blake was well on his way to achieving his goals while in grade school. It also helped that he performed so well on both the SAT and GMAT, which enabled him to attend one of the top Ivy League schools in the country. But as Blake tells his students, graduating with a Business degree from Cornell University was only part in parcel to his road to success. He would also have to secure a job in his chosen industry and begin working his way up. That happened and more.

Blake not only secured a job at one the world's top financial institutions, but within a couple years of doing so, he received the opportunity of a lifetime to go work in the Dublin headquarters. Feeling a strong sense of wanting to connect with his new city, Blake followed up on an inquiry at Manhattan Review, seeking talented professionals with lots of experience and a passion for developing students into academic and professional top achievers. That was merely five years. Since then, Blake has played a pivotal role in delivering the world-class test prep services that we are known for all around the world, including right here in Dublin. Never the one to back down from a challenge, Blake has truly embraced his new home, which is yet another thing, on top of his down-to-earth personality, that students have come to love about their private tutor.
