GMAT Prep Course Charlotte - Photo of Student Scott

The sessions I had with Bill exceeded my expectation. We were able to cover a lot of material in the 12 hours I was signed up for. Bill was very organized, prepared, and knowledgeable. Bill had a solid understanding of each section of the test, and he was able to answer any question I had.

Meet a Charlotte Tutor: Alec D.

Growing up in the Myers Park neighborhood of Charlotte, Alec always felt a sense of obligation to help make a difference in the lives of those in other parts of his hometown who didn't necessarily have the same privileges in life as he did. Alec realized early on that teaching would afford him that opportunity.

Before becoming an instructor, Alec spent years as college prep tutor for the sister school for his alma mater, the prestigious University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Although he did well on his standardized tests, he was also well aware that students need more than taking the standardized tests to do well academically and professionally. Several years into his teaching tenure, Alec happened upon Manhattan Review, and he's been a vital part of our elite tutoring staff ever since.

As a professional tutor for Manhattan Review-Charlotte, Alec employs many of same instruction strategies that he does when he instructs his students at the University of Carolina at Charlotte, including the humor. Our GRE and SAT students love to work with Alec because of his wonderful sense of humor, and for that and so much more, he is what helps makes our test prep services at Manhattan Review top notch in Charlotte.
